
Recipe: Red lentil dhal with spinach
Preparation: 40 min
Ingredients: for 4 people
- 1 teaspoon of cumin
- 1 teaspoon of turmeric
- 2 shallots
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon of pickled ginger
- 200g red lentils
- 1.25l of water
- 100g spinach
- salt pepper
Preperation :
- in a saucepan brown the spices, shallots, garlic and ginger
- add the lentils and water and simmer for 30 min, stirring regularly, until the lentils are tender
- add the spinach and cook for a few minutes then salt and pepper
